Ivan Manuppelli, also known as Hurricane Ivan, is an Italian illustrator, musician and cartoonist.Strongly inspired by the American underground comix scene, he has animated the Italian indie scene founding the magazine The Artist (2001) and it's successor PUCK!

 

For Italian magazine Frigidaire, he created the comic book series 'The New Partisans', about the adventures of a group of terrorists octogenarians. Among his other creations are the animated series 'Aztrokitifk & Mario', "Precary Man" the first precary superhero, the autobiographical serie 'Groove' and 'Stanley the Jackal'. From 2011 to 2013 he collaborates with satirical magazine IL MALE, directed by Vauro & Vincino.
